OFFICIAL RULES:

• No purchase necessary to enter.
• Beginning 10/4/09, customers may enter by visiting www.wegmans.com. Customers can share their ideas on using reusable shopping bags by answering the question of the week posted on www.wegmans.com. Once the weekly question is answered, customers will be prompted to fill out an online entry form with their name, phone number, complete address, and e-mail address. A panel of judges will choose their favorite response and the selected entry will be that week’s winner.
• Entry cannot be copied, duplicated or mechanically reproduced.
• Illegible entries will be disqualified.
• Wegmans is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail or entries not forwarded to headquarters in time for entry selection, for computer system, phone line, technical, hardware, software, program or server failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or any other difficulties which are human or technical in nature.
• Employees of Wegmans, their parent companies, subsidiaries, their affiliates, and immediate family and others living in the same household, are not eligible.
• Prizes are as stated in promotional literature and cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or other merchandise.
• Prizes will be awarded as follows: a $100 Wegmans Gift Card (8 winners) (value $100.00 each). Total value of prizes $800.00.
• Wegmans reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value if a prize stated becomes unavailable.
• To qualify, online entries (as required by these official rules), must be received by 11:59 p.m. (EST) on 10/10/09 for the first judging; 10/17/09 for the second judging; 10/24/09 for the third judging; 10/31/09 for the fourth judging; 11/7/09 for the fifth judging; 11/14/09 for the sixth judging; 11/21/09 for the seventh judging; 11/28/09 for the eighth judging, respectively. Customers must enter each week for that respective week’s judging. Entries will not carry over from week to week.
• All winners are selected by Wegmans officials, whose decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to this contest.
• One (1) winner will be selected each week; eight (8) winners total. The first winner will be determined on or about Monday 10/12/09, with the additional weekly winners to be decided on or about 10/19/09, 10/26/09, 11/2/09, 11/9/09, 11/16/09, 11/23/09, with the final winner decided on or about Monday 11/30/09.
• Winners will be notified by e-mail, phone and/or mail. In the event Wegmans is unable to contact a potential winner despite diligent efforts to do so, an alternate winner will be chosen.
• Winners are required to sign a Winner Sheet/Release Form and provide their Social Security Number when prizes are claimed within 10 days of notification.
• Entries submitted for this contest will become the intellectual property of Wegmans. Winners’ first name and town will be posted on the website.
• Winner is subject to all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
• Contestant agrees that this contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and proper venue for any and all actions shall be deemed exclusively proper only in state court in Monroe County, New York or in the federal court for the Western District of New York.
• A winner's list will be available after 11/30/09 by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to "2009 Wegmans Reusable Bag Contest," Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., 1500 Brooks Avenue, PO Box 30844, Rochester, New York 14603-0844, Attention: Advertising.
